Using a combination of orthopaedic assessment, rage of motion testing, functional and postural motion, and medical imaging (when required), our osteopaths will formulate a treatment plan that is tailored to each patient’s needs.

Osteopaths at Symmetree Osteopathy will use hands on treatment that includes soft tissue massage, joint manipulation/mobilization, stretching, shockwave therapy, dry needling, muscle energy techniques and more. Your Osteopath may also prescribe appropriate rehabilitative programs/exercises, life style and postural recommendations, and nutritional advice, emphasizing the ‘whole person’ approach to achieve optimal health.

At Symmetree Osteopathy all of our Osteopaths are registered with the Osteopathy Board of Australia and are members of the Australian Osteopathic Association (AOA) – the national professional body representing Osteopaths.

What to expect from Osteopathy?

At our osteopathy clinic, you are given a thorough assessment in every session. At your first visit to our clinic a thorough medical history and physical examination will take place to identify areas of dysfunction and allow accurate diagnosis of your problem.

Our Osteopaths then develop safe hands-on treatments for you, such as exercise routines and relaxation techniques to help you achieve:

• Exercises and stretches to improve your health

Allow 45 minutes for an initial consultation and 30 minutes for subsequent consultations.
