Cancellation Policy

24 Hours Notice is required for all cancellations or appointment changes.

A cancellation fee of 50% of your allotted consultation fee applies for all appointments cancelled within 24 hours.

Consultation Fees

Payment is due at the time of your consultation.

We accept cash, EFTPOS, VISA and MasterCard.

Private Health Insurance Rebates

Symmetree Osteopathy offers the HICAPS facility, which enables you to receive your private health rebate on-the-spot.

Please bring in your health fund membership card and present it when paying for your treatment.

Private health funds provide varying levels of cover, please contact your health fund for full details of these benefits.

Rebates from Medicare – GP referrals

The Chronic Disease Management (previously EPC) initiative allows registered Allied Health practitioners (including Osteopaths) to bill certain items under Medicare cover.

Our Osteopaths are registered to accept referrals for patients with chronic conditions under this program, allowing patients to claim a rebate from Medicare at their appointment.

Please consult with your doctor to determine whether you qualify for this program.

At Symmetree Osteopathy we offer NO GAP for clients with a health care concession card or seniors card

Work Safe, TAC & DVA

Symmetree Osteopathy is an approved service provider for WorkSafe, TAC & Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA).

For WorkSafe and TAC services, it is essential that you provide your claim number and contact details at the time of your initial consultation, as cover for these services must be arranged with your insurance company.

For all DVA claims, a medical referral is required so please obtain this before your consultation.
